Nice, did you folks make it up to Glastenbury peak? That is some bad luck with the Ski-Doo. Not surprising however, last year when I started mine up gasoline came rushing out of a leak at the fuel filter like a fire hose, luckily I was in the shop at the time.

Thanks for the report!
I never ended up riding saturday. Woke up at o-dark-thirty with a stomach bug. Felt like the flu. Went back to bed and woke up around 9:00am. Keith, You have go to get her a sled. She looks like a natural. What about a nice Polaris INDY 600 SP with Estart & reverse?

We parked next to A-Z in the public lot, it was a great day for riding and there were not as many riders out there as I expected, I doubt the lot ever got 1/2 full. Met VTsnowman at A-Z I guess he is the owner ? His shop is spotless, and he had tma's and woodford maps.
440 and I thought we might ride till 1 or so, it was dark when we got back, good time and trails. I stopped at the Royal Diner on rt9 for some chow on my way home, and it was a great local place. Took my 2up, wanted to give it a run before taking it to IP, ran great, hot light can on a time or 2, but went right backout. 440 was riding his xc , and MB was on his cat, Keith's new piece is a cool sled, has one big problem though, everytime I saw him in motion, the skis were in the air ,huh , lol, what a surprise. We stopped often and had a great time, Keith's daughter is a sweetheart always positive and has a smile on her face. We all fueled up at Jenks, MB took 7.5 gallons in the cat, I took 7 in my 2up 700 , 440 took 6.4 in his 700 xc, and Keith won the mileage contest and only took 5.1 , that conservative riding style is paying big savings LOL Guess that shows how much better new sleds are. That 710 trail is a narrow groomed trail and says so on the map, it was fun, reminded me of the old days, a foot more snowand it would be double the fun. Great opener for the season, had plenty of laughs with HCS'rs CK,MB,and 440 Thanks to All I had 123 miles Dave |

We ran into the guy with the burnt up doo around 1:00..they were covering up what was left of the sled with snow, I told him that fish and game were at Airport Road checking registrations about 5 miles south of the scene. Sure hope they notified them because when we passed the wreck it was completely buried with snow and a major trail hazard !!
