Doing the Gaspe in Quebec Feb 18 -23. Right now the Pittsburg has more snow.

We rode Kingfield, Carrabassett Valley, Stratton, Eustis, Rangely area for the first time this past weekend. Trails were in Tip Top shape, everythign was smooth as glass and there was Enough snow (about 2+ feet in most areas) It was COLD, and there wasnt too much traffic considering it was reciprocal weekend and the sno-deo weekend.

I was Impressed with the riding but I was NOT impressed with the signage. about 65% of the time I was confused at junctions, couldnt find a decent trail map either. The club maps didnt have the trail numbers on them and the ITS map didnt have the club trails on them, even some of the junctions didnt have trail numbers, just town names and arrows. I thought NH signage was bad. Maine is far worse!

Took the 5 hr track by truck and trailer to millinocket maine! Rode all three days and put in 600 miles for the trip. Outstanding trails and like not having to worry about the speedo going over 45 mph. Hope maine doesn't opt out of the reciprocal weekend. Good trip.

Last year Pittsburg was pounded hard by the recip weekend, because it was the only place with snow. Today Pittsburg trails were awesome. I guess the recip traffic was spread out over all 3 states as it is intended to be.

I agree on the signage in Maine I rode in an area that I have not riden since we had full reciprocity and the signage in those areas was not very good at all, but we did get we were going. I had to ask some guys at one intersection if we were going in the right direction. The trails were nice I love it when it is that cold, the trails stay nice and keeps the fair weather riders home!!

I can offer more angles of that one, but it was indeed a bummer!! atleast you didn't toast it like the one we saw on the way out
