Anybody know if one can sled to it to view the remains?

Never heard of a POW camp up there...... There used to be one at the old Grant Farm I think that is on the Ragged Riders trail system. Not much there but a Helio landing area now. If there is one at Seboomook you could get there from the Piston farm area I would think.

There was a POW camp for German prisoners in Stark NH for WWII .....

that campground was dismantled just after the war..i don't think there is anything left..the pow campground held german prisoners..they worked in the woods,cutting down tress for the "milli" pulp mill..if you find anything please let us know..Jim ride right, ride safe

Not much left of the one below Jackman off the Spencer Rd (aka Hardscrabble Rd)

There is a sign in the middle of the woods acknowledging it was there @ one point in time.

I'll get the lowdown on the one below Jackman.

I have a friend with a camp just up the rd from it.

Seboomook Campground is now on the location of the old prison talked with owner of the campground and he was pointing out areas where things use to be but nothing left. If you stop at Indian hill trading post you can buy the small paper back book titled Seboomook tell you all about it.
