Has anyone been in the Kokadjo area? would like to know the snow totals and if they are grooming?

We have had some light rain here today so far - no new snow - and no grooming ANYWHERE around here yet that I know of - not up the State Road - not Kokadjo/Jo Mary - not yet. Makes no sense to ruin/damage a $$$ groomer w/such little snow - sure there is close to a foot (or more in places!) on the ground - but its kinda soft now w/these temps/drizzle. Have to see what else comes tonite & next week.......

Anyone know what the deal is with Kokadjo and grooming this year. There was a big blowout between Scott Ramsay and Fred last spring and Fred told him to find someone else to groom.

Good to here - right now its pouring rain & warm. Spoke to Julie up @ Twin Pines a few minutes ago - as I had not seen any sign of grooming around here or up the Lake Road yet - she said nothing has been groomed - Sunday depending on what happens they may try & get out to protect what is left. Will post more when I hear more......ride safe guys - hopefully it will be a long season......

That was probably Marie. Sounds like a good cooling off for everyone helped.

Yes a cooling off period was warranted.
Low snow conditions and a poor economy will do that.

I hope the storm brewing for tonight and tomorrow help bring up the snow totals and bring out the groomers ALL over the state.

I'm in hopes I'll be riding up in that area this coming weekend.

The trailers ALL loaded and headed for camp Friday evening.

Will do,
you should be ALL set for those dates, we'll be a little early seeing they are just going to get started grooming in that area within a couple of days.
There is a base at least so that's a good thing.
