Guyzoun and I left Maniwaki friday morning at 26 below heading to Clova. We took the 13 south which was 9/10.Then we took the 322 until the Restaurant Classic in Lytton.322 was freshly groomed for the most part.trail was hard as Iron and we were the first ones on it.But the best was yet to come.from The Classic in Lytton you ride for 11 miles before ending up on the clova road(Lépine road).following the TQ63 west from The Classic until Bark lake road, trail was A1.

there is a 25 miles stretch between Bark Lake road(where the 63 is heading toward Le Domaine) and the Rabaska trail which was a bit more rough(not maintained by any clubs). But the rest was simply A-w-e-s-o-m-e!!!!!!!! starting from Rabaska jct til Clova. The trail runs on Clova road and it was freshly groomed on saturday. We left Clova saturday morning under Heavy snow.Stop at the Relais Évasion(Formerly known as the McDault for a bottle of water) due to too much beer consumption the night before. They told us the groomer was broke at Maxime Lake. From Clova until the Pensive is 93 miles. That's where the groomer turns back. It's a 27 hours run for him.

430 miles round trip. The best ride of the season in my case.We brought back a souvenir from Clova. We slept at the Tamarac.André the owner of the place is a good guy.

Indeed Mid Range, it was a blast to ride those trails from Maniwaki to Clova Hotel Tamarac.

Tamarac Hotel was built in 1959.
20 years ago in 1987 the owner André bought the Hotel and revamped it. He added a second floor with rooms and a small dining restaurant.

Myself and Mid Range met André for the first time in 1995. We were welcomed like any snowmobilers should be welcomed.

Clova, 12 years later what a shame, should have returned way before.

Thx to André and Nathalie at Hotel Tamarak for the homemade feast and the spanish coffeesss

See ya soon!
Peace is a dirty word, she used to be a painted bird.
War she's a whore, don't we love her more and more!

Andre was out grooming (I think) when we were there two years ago, but his wife Nathalie was awesome looking after our stay. We arrived late, around 10pm, but since we phoned her from Parent and told her we were coming, she arranged to still have a fresh meal ready for us when we got in, and the food was great!

We'll be back again when in the area!!!
