yes Jim, these are the "NEW" Stinger hornets that have been field tested at Howards on the 300+ HP trail sled according to Ed.

here's another clients review that was posted in the Advertisers FEEDBACK forum today. This client is riding a turbo'd CAT and writes:

I used the Reotin Hornet version before and great traction but found they broke. These New Stinger Hornet ones seem much stronger! Great traction but with no breaks.
I'm very happy with them. This is a better stud

Hey spence , since most 1 plys are deep lug , your new one ply studs are not near long enough

@THUNDER333 - alot of the early 1 ply tracks were shorter lug'd, personally I like the safety, HP holding potential, and longevity of the 2ply tracks. 95% of our clientele is racer or super aggressive trail oriented so this hasn't been an issue and most of them switch over to 2ply tracks quickly.

having said that, If there was enough of a demand I would do what I could to have some longer FATHEAD "Stinger" hornet studs put into production to help meet demand but ask for your patience please.

@SPEEDYKIRB yes, the "STINGER" hornet version we knew was becoming the stronger/lighter better choice for hardcore HP trail guys, that is why it was important to become an exclusive dealer for them here in Canada - allowing us to provide exceptional pricing with Guaranteed NO BROKERAGE or any other hassles to provide here in Canada in the sizes that are popular - primarily 1.340 and 1.520

Have a great weekend!
