I e-mailed the VTGA today to ask if they would groom the trails after this snowfall. They replied that the groomer was in storage for the winter and if we received a significant snowfall they would have a meeting as to weather to groom or not.
I was just in the whiteshell for the weekend, they had less snow cover than we do now, but the trails were groomed twice in one week for Beaver days. This is nice thick snow, it's supposed to stay well below freezing in the coming weeks, would this not be sufficient snow cover to run the groomer once? |

Wow. Not enough. Shit i was out today. The ditches and fields have a foot or better. Ditch banging was great. Easy enough to groom. They just don't want to. We are suppose to get a bit more tomorrow also.

I also emailed them. I would think after last years shit show they would try to at least make an attempt. Should change the club name to
VT(NON)GA. To top it off i am pretty sure that their groomer operator is not even volunteer. He gets paid. So whats the problem. Pay the man and groom already. Last edited by stuccoboy; 02-22-2012 at 01:00 PM. |
