Well Gil Rempel represented Manitoba very well again at Haydays.

THis time however, Gil was wrenching and his son Mike was the pilot.

600 Semi-pro 1st place
600 Muliti 4th place
440 Semi-pro 1st place
500 semi-pro 3rd place

I hope I have this right. THis is with Ski-Doo sleds. Gil only ran with the 440 and the 600

Quite an accomplishment against the best of the best.

I would also like to add local boy from Brandon Darren Humphries took 2nd in pro 700 mod on his 700 triple in a rev chassis. He beat out Craig Marchbank( 1 of the top doo pro racers). I guess we have some talented racers from Manitoba!!!

I would like to congradulate all the other Manitoba and Saskatchewan racers: Cam, Blair, DW Racing, and all the rest.

I don't have a lot of sponsors to thank but I'd like to thank a few people:

Thanks Trevor and Pete for being the best pit crew.
Thanks Jim Bownam for the suspension work, and Billy Howard for suspension ideas.

Some of the other guys that gave me ideas when I was banging my head against the wall: Branko, Big John, Sylvain.

One of the biggest thank-yous goes to Don Falk - the farmer who rents me land for a test track. That test strip allows me to set-up and work through what we used at Haydays to win.

The 600 is still somewhat inconsistant but runs some respectable times. If we race the 440 any longer we can run it in vintage class soon.

Thanks for the congrats

Gil Rempel,
R-TeamRacing (Mike, David, Josh)

Great job guys

Just think how fast all the manitoba guys would be if msdra would let the racers use the porta-tree system that has been collecting dust for the last 5 yrs.

Wish I had been there to see you guys run.
