I have a 74 Thunderjet 340 FA in very nice condition. :div20: Recently came by an original pair of skis for it in good condition, the pair that came on the machine had the tips broken off.

Here's my 73 292 Star Jet. No more than 25 miles on it. All original except throttle cable and ski spreaders. Have the cover and the sno-jet gas jug too. Paid $25.00 for it in 1994 from a guy who won it in a local club raffle in 1973.

Default 1972 sno-jet star jet

I have a 72 sno-jet star jet that was origanly a 292 hirth electric start I bought it 1984 for $50. I rode it for 2 years and then I left it at a friends house in between moves, he said he come home from work and the snowmobile was sitting there idleing and then is son came out of the garage so he said to his son why is kens snowmobile running, his son said I am going for a ride, so buddy said it was out of gas so what gas can did you use, so his son showed him and it was the lawnmower gas not mixed gas, so they shut the machine off they said it only run for a couple minutes but that is all it took. I took the machine to my mom and dads farm drained the tank and put in mixed gas a little more oil than normal just praying it did not hurt the motor, but it did, I was only out for about a minute when it took the ring out, I searched for a new ring with no luck so I put in a elan 250 rotax motor, I end up scraping the hirth motor dumb mistake now you can find anything on the internet, I still use the machine every year ice fishing, right now the machine is completely torn down in the garage repainted, and almost ready to put back together I even have a like new track so I figured since it is apart I might just as well replace it, the original track still has a few years of life so I will keep it for a spare, but I have been thinking since it is apart I will start looking for a 292-193 hirth motor for it, once complete I still plan on using it for ice fishing

I believe I have one, although it might be a 295. I was going to use it on a 74 StratoJet restore but I sold the sled. PM me if you're interested. It runs on the bench when I put it away.
