Default polaris colt 340 ss 1973 help.

hey guys i picked up a 73 340ss colt the other day and i want to fix it up a little. first off does anyone know if i can get a service manual for this sled? also i wana know the clutch specs. like offset and center to center etc. and i noticed that it does not have an air box or filters? im thinking about restoring the sled so does anyone know where i can get parts? and what i should look for on the sled before i run it thanks for any info !!

check Ebay or the classifieds for a service manual they usually cover from 72-80's.

Center distance is 11" offset is 9/16"

Stock clutch spects are B weights and a clear spring. Orange Polaris spring with 44 gram weights perform better.

There simple and reliable sleds. What else you looking for?

I have restored alot of the Polaris sleds and the parts are pretty plentyful and some of the parts such as windshields, seat covers, and decals are getting reproduced. Most times if you do a Google search you can topics on other forums with people have problems or looking for parts.

For the wires, coils, and stators much of all the models that had a points ignition system you can interchange the parts or get them aftermarket.
