Default TSS question - A different use for them!

Hi There,
I bought a 1954 Ford tractor with half-tracks and cannot find an original set of skis for it (they did have them, but they are pretty rare). So, I came up with the idea that I would use Yamaha TSS struts on the front of the tractor. I would likely be buying a parts sled to get all of the parts I need. There seem to be phazers around. Are there better TSS's, like exciters or Vmaxs, etc? What should I look out for when buying a sled just for the struts and skis?

Look at the 94-96 vmaxes and more exclusively the xt models. The xt's had more adjustments and travel then the rest, and among the sleds you listed, you will find rebuildable parts more easily through schmidt bros on the vmaxes.

Too bad your your north of the border, I would make you a killer deal on a set of vmax struts.

Thanks Frozen. Depending on where you are, I might have a way to get them. I am looking for struts and skis. What shape are they in? How much are you looking for them?

I am in Washington State(unfortunately), you would be looking at around $100 for the pair of struts and that is negotiable. Condition would be excellent and they have been stored indoors. I have several sets of Yamaha skis along with others, depending on you needs, but I am not the least bit interested in international shipping.

Thanks Frozen. I have a place in Michigan I could have them shipped to. Is there a number I could call you at to discuss?
