Default 800 cfi vforce reeds

The reed petals in my 09 800 cfi are shot, I am debating if I should replace them or go back to the stock ones. The sled is new to me so I have no idea if there was any perfonace gain or not.
What have you guys eeen for perfomance gain and what have you seen for life of the reeds?

This is a ongoing issue with the cfi motors when using either Vforce or Boyesen Reeds. I would reccomend against the use of aftermarket reeds in any motor that does not have fuel passing through the reeds(CFI, ETEC). The issue is that the reeds are not cooled by the fuel, and subsequently fail. Vforce will last about 1000mi before they are chipped up bad, Boyesen will not last half that. I tried both, and neither worked well. Not to mention the negligible increase in "throttle response" that I couldn't detect.

no fuel or oil plus the reeds close onto hard plastic, not rubber like the poo reeds. They are worn all the way around right where they touch the cage. I am just not expecting big gains I mean the stock ones are already a double v
