From all the for sale advertizements and some of those asking prices. I'm thinking many must have new sleds coming. Did I mention those high prices I think to many guys are using the NADA or Kelly Blue Book wish Books.
I think the high prices are due to the new prices being so high. Was in my dealer yesterday and saw a new 600 pro S and it was $10,800!!! For a 600! So they went up almost $1000! I may have purchased my last brand new current model sled, probably gonna be non current from here at best.
Used prices are only as good as people willing to spend that amount. I agree prices are high on everything, but you can't fault guys for getting what they're asking for (or close to it).
Same as the new prices, whether it be trucks, cars, snowmobiles etc. As long as we are dumb enough to pay it,(and apparently we are, or at least I am) prices will continue to increase. Paying 50k for a pickup is about as dumb as paying 12k+ for a sled. Thus far I havent paid over 10k for a sled, but have a new silverado so Im half way there.
When you have good snow years it seems to always jack the price in the use market. BTW Keep and eye out for a used IQ 600 for me WI.
