Last time I rode a sled there were only a few options in each brand.
I have raced mx/x-country dirt bikes but no longer fly 30 feet above ground and don't plan on jumping many cornices. I can see me busting out new trails and high marking. Reliability and some thing lite would be my preference. Any suggestions for a 6 ft 220 lb'er. something used preferably less than $3000 Many thanks |

Hate to be a killjoy but your going to have to add about 1-1500. more to your budget unless you happen to really catch a major break. To get a somewhat later built sled like say a Rev chassis MXZ600 or 800 thats worth buying your looking at about 4 to 5g's and you'll end up with the snowmobile equivalent of an MX'er.

If you can get one for 3 to 4g's just watch the mileage and check over the chassis for wear & tear....egging out of holes, worn suspension parts and the like because for a low mileage one their going for roughly 4g's and up here in Maine if they are in good ready to ride condition
