I just bought 2005 500ss and the guages worked fine and now dont work at all. All wires are connected and fuses are fine. What is my problem??

Sounds like the relay..known to blow and guages go dead.

Try re placing it , you can get them at Napa for like 6 bucks vs's the 30 at the dealer.
The relay is located above the secondary on the frame..little blk thing that plugs into harness.

Think it's AR 21 by napa's #'s, take your old one with you

there is a relay under the left side of the cluster, it is a common failure. you can pay upwards of $35 for the relay at the dealer. or you can pay less than $10 at your local automotive store. do a search here or over at dootalk and you will find the part number, location of exact fuse etc...

chek your ground plug, I had the same problem when i rebuilt my motor. Its down behind the exhaust can

Default Gauges

My son washed the sled after months of storage(09 MXZ 550X) the other day and since then there is a gauge and Tach problem as well. It worked fine before and now when I start the sled both gauges seemed to be miscalibrated. The Tach reads 3500rpm and the speedometer is 25 mph while idling. No doubt he probably sprayed the crapped out of it, any reccommendations.
