I plan on removing the swaybar from an 06 renegade and am wondering if anyone can tell me what Im up against-its a twisted bar and looks to be woven thru the chassis -how long do I need to plan it taking to get it out and will I have to drill any rivets to remove it-I will be doing this after hours and want to finish it when I start it-so no parts will be available during the removal process-if anyone can give me an idea that would be appreciated-Thanks

I have heard of people cutting them out-thats what makes me think it might be a PITA-and cutting it isn't an option for me-

Just cut it, you won't want it back anyway!

Haha-you were right! I went ahead and removed it properly-it wasnt that bad really-just unbolt it and pulled one ground strap screw that was in the way and twisted it thru the bulkhead until the big plastic end got in the way-a lil hammer tap or two and its out-less than 30 minutes of screwing around and WOW-huge improvement as far as being able to get it to turn in the pow-I only rode it for 10 minutes but could tell it was going to be somewhat more nimble than it was-it just feels like a schoolbus thru the snow, compared to my firecat. My buddy rode home later that night and said he was NOT putting it backin-he felt it made the ride through the rough even better than it was-just a few clicks stiffer on the front ad it still handles the trails ok too.Next thing to convince him on is a new/bigger lug track- 1.5" -6 pitch hopefully

Hmm,I assume we would need 9 tooths as well? How many miles on the track and what kind of shape is it in.Is it the factory 1.75?I bet it would be alil more flickable with a narrower track under it too-that 16 wide is nice for floating but what a hog trying to toss it around-Pm me with pics and a price if you would like-maybe we can strike a deal
