Hey guys, wondering if any of you know the differences between the 75, 90 and 115 hp engines. They are all based off of the 1.5L block and looking to see if I am able to make my 2006 75hp a 90 or 115. My dealer tells me the 90 and 115 are closer than the 75 and 90, but he couldn't me the differences because he just didn't know.
Is there more involved than just computer and gearing or???? What is involved??? Looking for a little extra jam. 42mph just isn't isn't cutting it anymore on my Lund 1750 Outfitter ss anymore. Any help would be useful. Thanks

No idea.
I was just looking at a 115 4 Stroke Merc and was told 75, 90 and 115 are the exact same weight and packaging. I don't know how they squeeze 40 HP out of the same motor without any more weight and size
