3-4 sleds in 500' is a mile. Something doesn't add up here. Joe.

I just put new rings in my 800 BB F7 & raced my buddies 07 crossfire 1000 a few weeks ago. He has new 168 studs & only 650 miles, like a new sled. From a dig I left him bad & I had lots of stud tearouts too & track was shot after. From a roll he did slightly pull on me & very slightly but once I hit 90 thats where the 1000 shows its top end & pulls away. It has a 136 track so its a bigger sled than a CFR, pretty much stock except for a can & no clutch work so thats some of why the F7 got the hole shot but its amazing what new rings & cyl hone will do. Now we just need some more snow cuz I am just dying to get on the F7 again with the new track, studs & top end.

It's not just the track length on that 07, the 07 was a completely different animal. It was more of a mountain riding based sled than a flatlander like the CFR. I almost owned one in 08 until I rode it, my friends F7 (stock) for stock, ran behind it up to 80, then here comes the F7 with that leggy topend, when the 1000 hit 85 the F7 was going by and kept going. CFR to Firecat apples to apples except for displacement. No replacement for displacement,(except turbo, supercharger,or nitrous

This horse is dead guys. Facts are fact. Snopro tracks are about 2mph slower and a136' track is also a little slower at top end. The F7 was a fast sled. They are lake runners. Meaning any 800 will have their hand full with them. That's if the F7 is tuned properly. And that's were it stops. Any 1000cc sled will kill any F7 at WOT across the lake. Even if the F7 had every mod on it and a bottle and the 1000 was stock out of the crate with Tom Arnold on it. 1000 takes it. This is only at WOT across the lake only. In a drag like 660' or 1000ft then it would be closer.

No, I would not agree, I've seen some pretty good F7s, and some mediocre 1000s. I bought 2 of 1 and one of the other just to see for myself. Tuned well stock the F7 overachieves.......Bigtime. My F7 runs 120's WOT,no problem. Not all 1000s do. Just what I've seen. Joe.

Well if your700 is running that good, awesome. I still think the 1000 owns the lakes and rivers. But to each their own. My 06' runs very well too. I don't know about 120mph, but very close. Cheers Joe!!
