I just bought a 03 F7 that has a D&D single and D&D Y-Pipe but the clutch is all stock. I had D&D clutch kit in my old F7 and was very happy with it but I've heard a lot of people say to go with the ODS kit. Please state what you have and what you gained from it.

+1 for the ODS kit! My times listed below were achieved with ODS clutching! Need I say more?

i would run DD stuff, all their parts in it,call them and ask them, nothing bad with anyone else but parts are built to work together!Ive been down that road before!I would tell them and ask, they do all the testing on the drag strip,up a ski-slope,radar runs, even trail riding so we dont have to!JUST MY OPINION, but this is what i would do,remember everyones sled is different and works different!you cant have a full drag sled and trail ride it also, well only for a few minutes till it melts down, good luck!

To each their own I guess. I run all D&D Motor parts and use an ODS clutch setup. Furthermore I run the same exact clutch combo on my trail F7 as I do my race sleds and it works great on the trail as well. Again though to each their own.

what ever kit you go with make sure to tell them about your mods, no point putting a stock kit on a modded sled. If going with the ODS kit likely change the weights from 66 to 68 and if studded good may want to change the helix from what comes in the kit ODS1 to ODS2...but talk to Dan. You will gain a few sled lengths in a race on hard pack...maybe a bit on top end as the stock 03 helix does not shift all the way out (look at a 04 helix and you will see what I mean), this would only come into play in perfect conditions on hard pack and ice.
