I have searched the forums for a good "how to" on replacing the speed sensor on my 2006 F7 EFI but have really had no luck. Some threads say I need to drill a hole some say otherwise...

So can somebody who has replaced the senseor please let me know how it's done. I'm hoping to tackle this project over the weekend sice were forcasting some rain.

Service procedure says to drill a hole to get the sensor through the tunnel but the proper routing will require you to remove the DD.
