Agreed, they could have at least called it the SRX. Polaris has the XCR now.

Needs one more cylinder, and a factory supercharger instead option, along with the 'Apex' Sidewinder name of course.

I'm ok with the name, especially since it's a joint chassis. I'd rather they keep the SRX name for any possible new yamaha chassis. I notice they still offer the apex and I've heard rumors that 2018 is a big year, we will see.

For those worried about the price keep in mind theres several places at least around me where you can buy a new viper for 8999. That's quite a bit off, so I wouldn't be surpised if you could get a new one for 13 or even 12 at some point.

Still too much cat influence for my liking, maybe some day they will get away from that joint effort. Has been terrible for Yamaha's reputation for reliability.
